About Us
The GT Shockers are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization founded by Craig Soignet in the Fall of 2005, as a single 12U team. In the fall of 2006, we added a 10U team and by the fall of 2007 the GT Shockers were in full force, with the addition of our 16U and 18 Gold teams. We are proud of the growth and support we share within the Golden Triangle area. The GT Shockers are a showcase driven organization, dedicated to helping young ladies achieve their goals of playing college softball. We are also dedicated to challenging ourselves by competing at the local and national levels. We are especially proud of the success of our Gold team. This team was established in the Fall of 2007. We were extremely Blessed to have seven seniors show up, tryout, and make this team. With the help of former parents, coaches, and players each of these young ladies will continue their careers. The GT Shockers thank each of the volunteers for their countless hours, coaching, preparing player profiles, assisting players with e-mails, talking to college coaches at tournaments and on the phone. Without each of you, the infrastructure of our organization would not have been possible. Thank You all!
A SPECIAL Thank You - To all seven seniors that took a chance with the GT Shockers Organization. You came to us with uncertainty and perhaps hesitation, when many others doubted! Each of you will always hold a special place in our hearts - you were the first. Good luck and enjoy every moment of your college careers! The tradition of the GT Shockers organization continues. We set our goals high and continue to meet these goals by maintaining 100% of our Gold Team players committing and/or signing to play college softball. In 17 years, we have assisted 104 players reach their goal and dream of playing at the next level.

Motivation
To become a GT Shocker, you must be a self-motivated individual, or have the willingness and desire to transform into one. By entering this organization, you agree to give 100% of what you have on a daily basis without any excuses. Every moment is an opportunity to excel, to be more, to achieve your best. We are not looking for players that simply go through the motions and only want to get by. Simply put, there is no easy road to the top. You must set your goals high, train hard, and get positive results. You must always do your absolute best to become better today than you were yesterday, and to become better tomorrow than you are today. At the end of each day, you must be willing to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you truly gave it your all. If you don’t have this level of commitment to constantly be the best that you can be each and every day, this program is not for you. If you want it bad enough and are willing to put in the time and effort that it truly takes to get to the collegiate level, this organization will do everything within our combined powers to help get you there.
